Makers Bolt flat washers are 100% solid 18-8 (304) Certified Stainless Steel providing premium protection against rust. Our washers are Black Oxidized in the USA giving the washers a uniform black coating on all sides. This coating adds to it’s corrosion and abrasion resistance. The Black Oxide is applied to military spec MIL-DTL-13924D Class 4. Unlike painted, powder coated, or zinced finishes, this finish will not chip, peel, or scratch off. These washers are perfect for exterior applications where high corrosion and rust resistance is required such as deck building or manufacturing assembly equipment. A washer is used to distribute the load of the head of a fastener. Our fasteners are not only made from certified stainless, the specialty finish will give your project a unique touch.
