It is the most efficient filtrete filter at capturing bacteria and particles that can carry viruses. 3m has given this filter a performance rating of 1500. The filtrete ultra 1500 filter is up to 30 times more effective than ordinary fiberglass filters. Filtrete filters will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use. The filtrete ultra 1500 mpr filter lasts up to 3 months and comes in a purple package. 1″ standard thickness.
