Stronger adhesion will be achieved by lightly moistening the substrates. AKFIX PA370 Strong Polyurethane Clear Glue for Wood Liquid polyurethane adhesive with a single component that cures quickly. It has strong bonding and good water resistance. It can be used as a marine glue. Has excellent chemical resistance and is suitable for use on slightly moist substrates. APPLICATION AREAS They can be used to bond almost any material with wood (ceramic, fabric, glass, metal, stone, metal, wood, etc.). It is an indispensable product in areas that are constantly exposed to water. It provides very good adhesion, especially on oily and waxy exotic woods (mahogany), and does not damage it. Also suitable for fixing of raised flooring layings in combination with mechanical fixtures and all bonding applications that need a high water resistance. INSTRUCTIONS ️ Acetone can be used to remove uncured glue. ️ The tack-free time of the product is 5-15 min (74.4 °F and 50% R.H.) (ASTM C679). ️ Once the bottle is opened, the shelf life of this glue is constrained since it cures by ambient moisture. After usage, the bottles must be stored tightly closed. If kept in dry, cold conditions, an unopened cartridge has a 9-month shelf life. ️ Storing items below 14 °F and above 95 °F may reduce shelf life. ️ Pressing time is affected by the porosity of the surfaces to be bonded as well as environmental factors (temperature, humidity, etc.). ️ The viscosity of the exterior wood glue is 3000 ± 1000 cps. ️ Please wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. ️ Akfix Industrial Adhesive is manufactured by Akkim, Turkey’s biggest producer of PU aerosol foam and silicone sealant.
