AMPEX2015FK residential insulation R10 -30psi panels are used for radiant floor (slab) heating systems both for interior and exterior applications. The combination of molded expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation with a vacuum applied high impact polystyrene (hips) film lower face, makes for a strong and resilient panel. The panel combines rigid insulation, a vapor barrier and a pipe locking mechanism into a single solution, that significantly reduces installation time and labor.- Ideal for installation in residential basements, patios, sidewalks, workshops and livestock barns, any concrete slab that will not have vehicles or heavy equipment used on it. They are also available in a wide range of other compressive strengths and thermal resistance values to meet the needs of most projects.
